Go to your home screen.

Tap the top right corner (where you see the number of bars you have of signal - it will say "off" if your radio is off).

Your Manage Connections screen will display.

Ensure the first checkbox (Mobile Network) is selected.

Hope that helps - sometimes I find that I accidentally disable it - this may have happened to you.
