Default Problem with Opera Mini

I installed Opera Mini in my 8530 a few months ago.
I never had any major issues until now.
I tried to look up something in Google and it immediately gave me the 'Unable to connect to Internet' error. Which is weird since it usually tries to load for a while before stopping.
I checked my connection, everything was fine. I could load pages from my native browser and log into Windows Live.
Yet, Opera kept saying it couldn't connect.
I restarted my cellphone, same. I uninstalled it and downloaded 6.0 (I had 5.1), and I couldn't even install the new version because it also gave me the 'Unable to connect to Internet' error.
Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this?
