Default BB 8830 - Calls not coming through

My spouse has my old BB8830 and there are many times when I call her, the phone doesn't even ring on her end. I hear it ring on my end and eventually it goes to vm.

There is no missed call or anything shown either. I usually then resort to sending her a text (which she receives) and she calls me back.

We have seen this happen in person. When we are together, I try calling and her phone doesn't even ring.

Called Bell and they had us reset the device. Waited a few days and still have the same issue. Bell claims that it's because she has no data with her package. I think that's bs, as they just want us to sign up for data. Why should the BB miss calls when there is no data?

Any suggestions on what to do? Reload the OS?


FYI - Did a serach and saw this similar thread... But I don't think that applies to us as we not on Verizon...
