Good information there.
In addition, I've dropped a number of the BBs along the way. Some several times, and occasionally hard enough for the battery cover and battery to be ejected from the device. I've never had a device fail due to a drop. They are certainly not ruggedized devices but neither are they particularly delecate.
If you are concerned Otterbox makes a number of cases that provide extra drop protection without altering the shape and size too much.
Keep it away from moisture though.
