I've received the following notice from Sprint:

Description: BlackBerry Provisioning System – software update

Affected customer locations: National

Start Date/Time: Sunday September 18, 2011 1:00 AM CDT

End Date/Time: Sunday September 18, 2011 5:00 AM CDT

Total Customer Downtime: Up to 45 minutes

Affected Sprint Nextel Services: Subscribers may be unable to register their device, create new accounts, or use BlackBerry subscriber web sites. Devices may not receive new service books. BlackBerry-enabled devices that request a new PIN may not receive a PIN. Customers may have to power cycle handsets once maintenance is complete
