I had some issues getting email going again as well. When I tried to log on to the BIS site it said I was not activated. It turns out they "accidentally" dropped my data plan. I've heard they do this to get people off unlimited (although I am only on the 200MB plan). Once they enabled the data plan I was able to log in and get things going again. Check to see if you can open a web site in the browser. That's how I determined they dropped my data plan.
