Digicel is GSM, I specifically canceled the BIS and the error message when activating the BIS is "Cannot activate selected plan. Your device is incompatible with this service."

You have to send a series of network codes, starting with *136# then Digicel sends you a text with further instructions and so on, and i go throught it till the last one when it gives the error code.
