You could try a security wipe, select to delete all third-party/user-installed apps, and also make sure yourself that there are no add-on apps installed. Then, before you do anything but reactivate your Blackberry on the network, test and see what happens.
You might also go so far as to reinstall the OS, and that way be sure you have a clean OS install to test with. Then test the battery before adding your apps and such.
It could be a hardware problem; that will be the conclusion if you rule out software.
