I tried this and it worked for me on my Torch 9810, OS7: Go to the BB Desktop Manager's Organizer page and click through each Configure section, changing from two-way to one-way (in other words, erase and replace the contents of your phone with your computer's data). No problems. It gave me some choices to make, but nothing out of the ordinary.
I then went back in and reset everything to two-way. (Now, this is where the old BB Desktop Mgr used to hiccup.) Again, nothing out of the ordinary.
I hope this keeps working this smoothly and works for you other guys having troubles.
