I had this same issue awhile back and it tormented me to no end. I tried quite a few suggestions I read on numerous forums until I came across one possible fix that I still have yet to see anywhere else. Do you know if your bb has the Memory Cleaner app enabled? Its a feature included out of the box so its on every phone (at least 9330 Curves like mine I know for sure). For some reason when its enabled it sometimes causes the device to reboot randomly. You can find it in your Options, scroll to Security, then to Advanced Security Settings, then to Memory Cleaning. From there you'll see the option to enable/disable it.
