Default New Unlocked BB 9900 Bold Won't Start

Hi,

I purchased a new unlocked blackberry 9900 bold on ebay. When I insert the sim card and battery, it turns on and shows the progress bar loading, but then it resets and just shows the progress bar again and won't complete it. Or it just shows the "error jvm 545" and asks to reset. I installed blackberry desktop software and tried updating the software and device but it can't communicate with the device. Could you please help me?
