| | Cannot Manage Internet Email on Bold 9700

I've decided to go to 2-Factor Verification for my Gmail account. I have everything working on 2 computers, but my Blackberry 9700 needs me to give it a new verification password.
I'm using v.220.127.116.119.
Problem is, I go to \Settings\Manage Internet Email on the device, it waits awhile ("connecting to email settings") then tells me "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue." Multiple fails.
I've tried resetting the password from the T-Mobile Blackberry site but cannot find a place to do that.
