Do you have the data plan specifically for BlackBerrys on your line?
You seem to be saying BBM was working but now is not. Is this the case. Or have you never used BBM?
If you have a BlackBerry data plan, do a hard reset. If the hard reset doesn't correct the problem, re-send service books. If you don't know what either of these mean, see blackberryfaq.com.
If you don't have a BlackBerry data plan, then that's the problem.
