I have an update on this. I contacted the author at toysoft.ca about their recording app and the answer that I got was that it only works on the 9900 (GSM), not on CDMA devices. The difference between the baseband processors for the GSM and CDMA devices is probably the issue. Until someone can be convinced to develop the app for CDMA devices we’re not going to see any progress.
