I'm a bit of a newbie to the BB world. Here is my question:

This is more specific to tablets (none 4G/LTE). I'm trying to connect this thing to BDS/Fusion at my companies infrastructure. As i understand the connection happens through the Blackberry infrastructure via the SRP connection on port 3101.

My question is, does connectivity to ca.srp.blackberry.com only happen if the device is communication directly on the Carrier/Cellular network? Specifically, if a tablet is only on Wifi, can it connect to the Blackberry infrastructure accross the public internet?
