The double payment is a problem that RIM should address. Have you tried posting in supportforums.blackberry.com ? As an application vendor I don't like to see people have this problem.

The problems you are having running the application on a specific phone need to be addressed to the application vendor. The application page in BlackBerry World lists [email address].
