Lightbulb use Blackberry Management Studio to manage servers in different AD environments

Please Login to Remove!

I you (like me) administer multiple Small Blackberry (express) servers, which are part of their own active Directory structure, you can use the Management studio as a dashboard for quick access to all servers.

It happily accepts multiple BES or BES Express servers, even, if they are located in a remote site. You must have some kind of connectivity, and, a blackberry administrator password identical for all sites. Also, a correct host entry in the hosts file to match the certificate for the remote server.

Then, just add the server to the Management studio control panel. Launch the console, and you have an oversight of all your users in all Servers under your control.

You cannot do much with the Management studio anyway, but I found I like it as a dashboard to get an overview of the health of all users I manage on all servers.
