| | in setup, Email Accounts button does nothing

Trying to setup my email in my new (used) 9310, when I click on "Email Accounts" in the setup menu absolutely nothing happens. Other setup menus work fine.
I previously had my email setup on a 8350. But I got the 9310, activated it (switched) on the verizon web page. The phone now works. Should I have done something with that old BB before I activated my new one?
