Default playbook won't play

The long red blinks and a small pause was cause by me wiping the dam playbook. It was working fine before I did it. Why I did it to begin with is because I thought it was going to fix something that I just can't remember now. Also I had never install the blackberry desktop until now cause I had recently bought it (at a flea market) and am new to it. As I try to install the playbook to the computer, it detected once for the updates, but then stop and and was unable to complete. I then unplug to try again but before I did that I notice the computer was telling me I had new updates to install, so I did and when I went back to install the playbook it totally does not detect it, it made it worse! I decided to plug the playbook on a different pc without the blackberry desktop and its now saying to update new driver for it, and when I did it said no new driver found,to check with manufactures for it. So, you, or the manufacture, I need the help to fix this mess...thank you if you can.
