Two thoughts.....

There are reported cases of Link not backing up some stuff. Someone does a restore and address book is missing, or whatever. I have noticed getting a warning that certain things were not backed up. I run the backup again and no error. I suspect this is what is happening to others and they don't notice the warning.

So if you are missing the password database, wipe the new device and run the device switch again. Or back up the old and restore to the new.

If the password keeper app is missing, just get it from BlackBerry World. The database is probably there. Once the app is installed it will see the database and all will be well.
