We need more detail. powers off? will it power back on? did you pull the battery and wait for a couple of minutes then put it back?
is the battery good? if you can, go to a carrier for the phone and try another battery.

Depending on the carrier, your phone may be restricted from the internet. AOL does not provide cell service. Who is the cell carrier and do you have a data plan?
