Seriously - and not trying to be overly sarcastic - did any documentation come with your new 7290? A Getting Started guide perhaps.

But here's some hints: What type of mail account do you have? If it is a POP3 account, use the BlackBerry Web Client (BWC) to collect and forward the mail. There is a thread on where to find the various carriers BWC. If you have an Exchange e-mail acoxxxx, you can use the BlackBerry Redirector that comes on the CD with the 7290.

Install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager - that is on the CD in the box. Use Intellisync to synchronize the contacts, calendar, notes and tasks with your existing e-mail system (Outlook, Outlook Express, Notes, whatever).

Wireless calendar requires a BES or hosted BES solution.

That should be enough to get you started..
