I have a friend who goes to Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio to finish his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. His lab was broken into last week and someone stole his laptop, flash drive and his cell phone. He lost all his work and is devastated.

To add insult to injury, Sprint wont use the GPS to locate his stuff for the police, as they only do that with a court order or in cases of kidnapping without a court order.

Due to the high cost of cell phones if buying without a contract, he cannot afford to replace his phone. Does anyone have a Sprint PCS phone that they would like to donate to him. Nothing fancy, just something that works and can allow him to concentrate on his other work instead of his cell phone problems.
