I sent one BB7290 to my relative in India and Bharti is not so happy with that.. they are trying to give the BS that they will only activate the device if you buy from them.. that defeats the whole purpose of GSM and your own device.
Finally they activated it and it works fine.
check with Bharti first I know they have good srvc in parts on india.
