Bluetooth is "generally" a standard protocol. The problem is that you can not do anything with it and the RIM device (BlackBerry) unless you have the RIM code signature. See the "How to Register RIM controlled APIs" section at [www_DOT_blackberry_DOT_com/developers/downloads/jde/api.shtml]
