Ok, I was able to fix the database problem with help of this KB article: http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/8021/728075/728850/728953/Support_-_Login_failed_for_user_'(null)'.html?nodeid=106210 5&vernum=0
To bad the "Application error" comes back while trying to upgrade the mds database! grrr....
