Since I'm biding my time waiting for the OTA install, I'll give you the quick reply. The Vodafone 8707 software would make a serious mess of your 8700. It's 3G - you are Edge. Telstra is the only option. Note also that these instructions assume that you have already worked with Telstra and know to delete the Vendor.xml file during the installation process.
