Each account has a start date and if that date is after some of your transactions, it does not include the earlier ones in the balance. Workingmen is right.
The reason we allow you to reset the balance amount and initial balance date is that some people don't have the time to enter all of their transactions or they make mistakes and don't want to reconcile.
If you one of them
, simply reset the balance in Ascendo Money to the most recent balance amount and date reported by your bank and make sure that all transactions since this date have been entered into Ascendo Money.
