i'm a newbie and i loooooove my blackberry 8700g (i've had several other bb's before but this is a favorite!), however......

i have had this one for a few days and the battery life has been pretty abysmal!
today i'm down to 10% after fairly low usage and starting out with a 100% charge (overnight charge) this morning>>>>>>that can't be right, can it??

i may not have charged the bb fully before starting to use it....but can i recondition the battery somehow by draining it several times like i've read in several other threads?

is this a battery issue or more likely a bb or software issue??
