Default Rogers TCP/IP Problems - Includes Verichat - Post Here

For Rogers TCP/IP, try this...
  1. First, make sure you are using BlackBerry OS 4.0 (or at least Version 3.8 if you already have a 7100/7290). You can find out the version by going to Options -> About ... and if it is not Verison 4.0, you should install one from another carrier such as Vodafone 4.0.0.188 (make sure to delete the VENDOR.XML file).
  2. Next, configure the Options -> TCP -> APN to "internet.com" as suggested by Configuring Internet on BlackBerry
  3. Go to your BlackBerry's Options -> Host Routing Tables, click Thumbwheel, and select "Register Now".
  4. Go to your BlackBerry Web Client website http://www.rogers.com/bwc/ and then go to your Profile, and click the "Send Service Book" button.
  5. Reboot your BlackBerry by removing and reinserting the battery.
(Or by doing ++ twice with a 10 second delay in between.)
  6. If it still does not work, call Rogers Canada and get the "internet.com" Access Point Name (APN) added to your BlackBerry account on their end. Then repeat the above 4 steps.
