I've been eying the 7130e for a while now. I'm still not sure I can justify the ownership of it; meaning if I actually have a use for email access remotely. I was interested in some of the apps - contacts and time management related, however. Still, I couldn't justify the purchase, until now....

My company gets a nice discount with Verizon. I get 22% off my plan. We also get discounts with accessories and equipment. My contract expires in September; they offer an option that allows you to upgrade your phone within two months of contract expiration. The company discount I get on the 7130e w/2 year contract was $130 shipped. I kept logging into the discount site (accessible through my company's employee page) and eyeballing it. Well, earlier this week I log in to take another peak and what do I see - $100 off the 7130e. That's right, I got it for $30 shipped. It arrived today and it's here next to me. I'm so excited. It's charging now and once it's done I'm going to switch it over.
