As long as the sim card starts with an 8 and ends in 300 and is black/grey in color you should be ok. If the sim Card states bad sim. either the sim is fried or the nextel rep didnt input the sim# correctly. Call nextel back and ask for the blackberry Department. HAve them run the Sim # and see if itt is on a black list. I had this problem when I bought my BB. The sim that came with my BB was on a list that could not be activated. I bought a new one on Ebay for 6 bucks shipped. The Sim i recieved activated in 5 minutes.
