Default 3 Brazillion Alerts

Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago I removed a user from our Exchange server and forgot to remove her from the BES... a few days later around 11 P.M. alert messages started coming in hundreds and next morning when I got to work there was about 8000 messages in my mailbox (I was smart enough to turn off my BB the night before when it all started ;).

Anyway, I checked the log file which grew to over 300 MB overnight and when I realized all of it was about the user I removed from the Exchange server but not from BES I quickly removed her from BES user list as well thinking that will be the end of it... but the alerts kept coming in... So I shut down the alert service and that stopped the messages and I thought they might stop coming after awhile but it's been three weeks since than and every time I turn the alert service back on I get flooded with hundreds of messages within few seconds and it's all about the user I removed weeks ago.

Here is what it looks like:

07/26/2006 07:00:18 (AFFF4F29) -> {user@domain.com} MAPIMailbox::GetNewMovedMessages - GetContentsTable (0x80004005) failed
[30000] (08/09 16:32:51):{0x634} Queuing alarm: BlackBerry Messaging Agent OCJ_SERVER Agent 1 (Application Event Log on OCJ_SERVER): 07/26/2006 07:00:18 (AFFF4F33) -> {user@domain.com} GetNewMovedMessages() failed
[30000] (08/09 16:32:51):{0x634} Queuing alarm: BlackBerry Messaging Agent OCJ_SERVER Agent 1 (Application Event Log on OCJ_SERVER): 07/26/2006 07:00:18 (AFFF4F4D) -> {user@domain.com} Unable to save configuration settings or statistics.

and so on...

This slowed down the server to a point where I can no longer do anything when I VNC into it...

Does anyone have any idea how to stop these alerts and get rid of this user once and for all?

TIA,

Dean
