I got a T-mobile 7100 handset in unlocked condition and inserted my Airtel mobile's 8 bit sim and the phone and email got activated. The SMS was not working.

I called Airtel and they replaces the 8 bit sim with 16 bit sim. Now the Phone and SMS are working and not the email.

Please help.
