First check that the date/time on your device is set correctly. The device will focus on the current day, and the current (or next) appt. However, I've noticed that it doesn't always put the current day at the top of the screen. I just opened my calendar, using Agend View, and today's date is near the bottom, but my next appt is highlighted.
