I just opened my calendar, using Agend View, and today's date is near the bottom, but my next appt is highlighted.

Does that help?
No - that's my problem: it doesn't put today's date at the top of the screen. Thus, the top of the screen shows a bunch of appointments that happened in the ast few days. I expect that this is useless to most people -- I want to see what I have to do next, no what I've already done.

Even highlighting today's date and selecting "Delete Prior" does not fix the problem as past, but recurring, appointments still show up at the top of the page.
