To be honest, I have no idea. I've never seen specs regarding the capabilities or limitations of that or any other Qualcomm chip. I was simply told that the 8703e uses a "Qualcomm 6500" chip. The implication that was made (although it was not explicitly stated) was that the Intel chips in the 8700 provided both higher computational power and more flexibility for OS developers.
