Its a business tool. Designed to handle quick email and phone communication.
For Mp3s - get an IPOD. After all you can't beat Apple in UI design.

But if RIM is trying to pick up the teen crowd, then Perl is perfect start for that.
What if you have professional blog, or are an artistic writer, and you want to take a picture of something intriguing you see and write a blurb about it. Would you not want the most effiecent device for email functionality since all major blog API's accept email posting. Not to mention you can get instant updates of your readership and statistics. Say you want to write reviews of a band from a song sample based on first reactions, someone emails you a file with the sample or they send you a link and you download the song and listen to it on the go and contact all of your associates with what you find.

So yeah, I guess artistic and entertainment related buisness applications don't fall into your realm of buisness... but I have told all of my friends in the industry about the pearl and the consensus response is 'Finally a blackberry that meets my needs, I've been waiting for this.'
