The device comes up as connected, but when I hit the sync button, the status bar slowly moves along, and PUFFF the box goes away. Then I get the infamous "unexpectedly closed" message.

But, I'll give you one better. I tried running the software on my macbookpro and the program won't even start. It installed perfectly, but when I click the icon, it bounces up and down on the dock, and they magically disappears (with no mention of any errors).
