if you are talking about mp3 songs, then I dont think theres a limit(actually limited to your memory). I had a 2 hour track song on my pearl. if you are talking about mp3s as ringtones, that im not sure of.

Also, Why use the desktop manager to load mp3s? Why not just click and drag into removable disk?
