| | Text Message Problem: Rim To Nextel

ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM?
I send many text message to my employees. We have 10 nextel handset and I had a nextel 7520. All my text messages are sent to the #@page.nextel.com address. Every text message sent from the 7520 to ANY nextel phone goes through, but has a string of about 30 characters of nonsense first. It's not just my company, but ANY nextel phone. So I thought it might be a problem with my 7520.
I switched to the 8703e w/verizon (not just because of this)
Lo and behold, same exact problem continued happening!
Soooo, I've spend hours on the phone with nextel. Though it's been happening for months, I think I'm the first one to bring this problem to them. After all these hours, I'm certain that this happens when sending a text message from ANY rim device to ANY nextel device, provided you're using the @page.nextel.com address. I thought it could be a RIM issue, but they said that since they can text all other carriers no problem, it must be an issue with the way nextel handles text message at that address, received from RIM only.
Anyone know anything about this?
I could use the Net alert feature, but I never need my guy's to reply to me (in fact, don't want them to) and the text messages feature on the handset is much easier to get and navigate for the technically challenged (see: landscapers)
