| | BES 4.0 and domino issue, getting a blank "from" field.

Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum, but have a relatively nagging problem. I am new to BES, I inherited the server from someone who left the company, and of course I'm expected to pick it up with no training.
Anyways, We have BES 4.0 running with Domino 7.0.2 and sometimes when clients send us e-mails, where it normally would say the person's name who sent the message there is a complete blank where the "from" field should be.
This poses another problem because you cannot reply back to the person who sent the e-mail because of the blank field.
Is this a problem on our side or the company that is sending the initial messages? I've searched the net over and over to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
