Go to Weather.com, get the forecast for your hometown and look at the URL. You will see an 8 character Alphanumeric code in the URL (e.g.
http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...om=search_city is what I get when I look for Calgary, AB the CAXX0054 is the locator code).
