I was able to install both the desktop and the blackberry client. It did deleted my paid IM+ version, but I downloaded again and it now works.

I've also been able to place a call to a Skype on a PC but heard a lot of echo everytime I said something.

Also does the software allow you to place calls to a landline as Skype does?

I have Skype landline entries but the "call" option is not available when you highlight?

Also would there be a dialpad so you can call any number?
