507 means no operating system.

Download the latest version of the 7280 O/S (check out the Sticky Thread in the General BlackBerry Discussion Forum).

Install the program you just downloaded

Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC C: drive

Restart Desktop Manager and it will load.
