Yeah, I just figured this out myself. I backed up all my data EXCEPT the AutoText settings (using the Advanced Options for backup). I'm back on the earlier OS with a clean install. After installing only the OS, I checked and the AutoText was on the standard US English settings. Restored my data from my backup, and that screwy foreign crap was back!
So, I went into Options and looked at the Language settings. THAT's when I discovered the culprit:
Input Method had somehow been changed to "català"... Whatever the heck that is. I changed the option to
english (United States) and everything's like it should be, problem solved.
