Alright, I'm sorry to be posting this type of thread in here, since there are so many. I have downloaded the current Nextel 4.1.376 7100i BB software from RIM, and also the 4.1.137 version (original version installed). I downloaded the Desktop Manager Software from RIM.
I have done everything I can find in all the FAQ's and HOWTO's on this site and I'm stuck.
So the first thing that happend was the battery stopped showingwhat percent had charge. I know the device was taking a charge because even though in Options > Status it showed 0% Charge it stayed on for 8 hours. So I thought, why not reinstall the OS and see if that fixes the battery thing. So I backed up my data and started the re-installation.
When I try and reload the BB software I get this error after it tries to load the radio software:
Quote:
A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.
Unable to communicate with the radio hardware. Please ensure that a charged battery is installed in the device and try the loading operation again. [P:0x0000000F]

And the Icon with the line through it and 507 shows up. I know that 507 means no OS. And I have tried all 3 USB ports on this laptop, both versions of the OS, any and all options checked or unchecked etc. I have tried using JL_CMDR to wipe the device and start the reload again.
What am I doing wrong? Am I forgetting something?
I'm losing it!!!!
