I use the filters to forward my emails as Level one - so I am not sure what dg is referring to. In my profile, I have it set so that emails do not buzz or light the LED. For Level one messages, I have them buzz and light the LED. In my filter, I have emails from my boss and those marked high importance forwarded as level one. It sounds like the OP is on BIS and since I am on BES, I don't think we set up filters the same way.
