MP3 will NOT be on a BlackBerry until they a) increase onboard memory or b) add an SD slot. I don't see either happening anytime soon.

As for smartphone being something that has consumer market flare, screw it. A smartphone could be something that adds the ability to email or IM or simply add applications, in addition to having normal voice services. BlackBerry handhelds are definitely smartphones.. very secure smartphones, thus making them smarter than the average bear phone.
