I just applied the DST patch, and sitting at home I could do a battery pull to compare the times (yeah took me awhile).

1m 30s: radio and lowercase 'edge' attached
...so, like everyone else experiences there's *something* different about a soft vs. hard (battery) reset - this is the same hardware, same OS, and same apps (well more or less, few new things) installed.
